Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we do with the details you give us when you enquire about demolition, strip-out, clearance or remediation work.
Who we are
Century Demolition Ltd is a demolition contractor registered in England and Wales, company number 13352242, at 9 The Mill, Ramshaw, Bishop Auckland, County Durham DL14 9SN. We are the data controller for the information described below. Contact us at info@centurydemolitionltd.co.uk or on 07716 484668.
What we collect
- Your name, telephone number and email address.
- The site postcode and the details of the work you describe to us.
- Any photographs, drawings, surveys or reports you choose to send.
- Correspondence with us by phone, email or enquiry form.
We do not ask for payment card details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we use it
- To arrange a site survey and prepare your quotation.
- To carry out and administer the works, including health and safety documentation.
- To answer questions and keep you updated on programme changes.
- To meet our legal, insurance, waste-carrier and accounting obligations.
Our lawful bases are our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the business, the performance of a contract with you, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
Who we share it with
Only where it is needed to deliver the work or run the business: our specialist licensed asbestos partner where licensed removal is required, subcontractors and plant suppliers engaged on your job, licensed waste facilities receiving arisings, our insurers, accountants and IT and email providers. Where required by law or by a principal contractor's compliance process, we may share health and safety and accreditation records.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Records relating to completed contracts, including health and safety documentation and waste transfer notes, are kept for the periods required by law, insurance and statutory limitation, then deleted or destroyed securely.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email info@centurydemolitionltd.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
